Dragway Tasmania in conjunction with Calder Park presents the “Tasmania vs Victoria Drag Challenge”

The Challenge involves 8 of Tasmania’s best drag racers battling it out against 8 of Victoria’s best to see which state will reign supreme!!

$1000 prize money for the winner!!

This challenge will take place on Saturday 6th October at Dragway Tasmania in Launceston, but right here is where it gets exciting…

Calder Park are on the look out for Victoria’s top 8 racers to send to Tasmania to do us proud!

On Friday 14th September in conjunction with the Legal Off Street Drags, Calder Park will be holding a shootout to select the 8 car team that will be sent to Tasmania to represent Victoria in the State vs State Challenge…

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better… Not only will the top 8 cars win the right to represent Victoria but will also have ALL their travel expenses paid for.

Over the coming weeks racers are encouraged to register their interest at scrutineering during the Legal Off Street Drags. The challenge is open to Street Cars ONLY.

What sort of times does our Vic Team run??

Most of the cars are between 10 and 12 seconds. I didn't get given times for them all though.

I'm pretty sure they are running the event DYO so as long as they can run close to their dial in times thats all that matters!!

I think Tassie will lose
