pump could be on its way out.

Does the gauge consistently read like that everytime you drive or does it fluctuate or jump around. Sometimes a faulty sender unit can cause that misconception...however i havent really seen one yet, only heard.

I would say its a faulty gauge/sender, mine does the same thing, 8bar oil pressure when cold, 2-4bar depending on revs when warm, on idle normally around 2bar but will sometimes drop right down to 0 and stay there for a while, sometimes if you let it idle while the oil pressure gauge is just above 0 it will all of a sudden jump back up to around 2bar and start working fine, some days it is perfect, some days it is fauly as hell, my old r32 gtst done the exact same thing! Very common problem.

If your concerned about it hook up a decent aftermarket oil pressure gauge and see what the readings are.

The gauge in my 32 is all over the place, as long as that warning light doesnt come on then you can relax

My gauge will read close to zero while my aftermarket gauge reads a steady 1bar at idle when warm
