Gold Valve/cam Cover

I have done a search and cant find anything.

Ther R33 GTR that i have just bought is totally stock standard besides a cat back exhaust, but it does have this Gold Valve cover. The engine bay looks unmodified though as far as i know most R33 GTR's have a black valve/cam cover. The only info i can find is that the N1 engines have a Gold valve cover though i am fairly certain its not an N1.

Can anyone help me out?

well I wouldn't think you would be lucky enough to have one but the only car to have the gold RB26 valve covers stock are the R34 NUR specs.( R34 V-spec II Nur, and R34 M-spec II Nur)

Likely someone just painted them..

Yeh had the car on the hoist yesterday and checked the block number, its the stock 05u. Oh well it looks good. It has the genuine N1 valley cover also which looks a lot better than stock.
