Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if someone could give me some advice on a replacement R32 GTR FUEL PUMP as my original one has finally decided to start dying...

Can one from an R33 GTR directly fit and work or are they different pumps?

Also, i have seen two aftermarket ones i can purchase - one is a SARD pump which flows the same as the NISMO pumps of about 4.6L per min... and the other a TOMEI one which i presume would flow about 278L/Hr (about the same as the SARD / NISMO one) for these would they dirrectly bolt-in and work without any modifications or would i also have to purchase a NISMO fuel pressure regulator or equilivent product to adjust the fuel pressure delivery...

If anyone could help me on this one it would be fantastic as it's become a bit of an emergency as i have rego due this weekend and need to buy and get the part asap... i suppose all i want to know is if i spend the extra money on a SARD / NISMO / TOMEI one will i get a bolt-in one that i won't need to buy an fuel regulator with it or will i??

Many Thanks,

Adrian

If you are in a rush just find a second hand Gt-R pump. Hell I have one for sale for $150. It is better for rego because it wont change rail pressure & stuff uor AFR's up.

For a replacement I bought a Nismo pump. In any case until you are flowing quite a bit more fuel than a stocker the stock pump will cope easilly. I use that pump with 700cc injectors & have buckets of head room left.

the nismo pump is straight bolt in. no need to change fuel reg either. I don't know from experience but I would say the tomei one and probably the sard one will be direct fit too.

arn't the tomei and nismo ones the same, just with diferent logos on them?

Thanks heaps guys for all your help... looks like i'll go with the Tomei Pump, would go for the Nismo one but can find anyone in Australia who sells then for under $800!!!

Would anyone know of a place who sells them for around the Tomei price $400ish?? without having to go to a place overseas such as Greenline or Nengun etc??

Many Thanks,
