starting problem

just want to know if anybody has had trouble starting there r33, i thought my injectors were leaking down, they've since been cleaned and seems to have made it worse, at the same time i cleaned the throttle body and reset the tps. it seems i have to crank the motor for a couple of seconds before it fires and when it does you can smell fuel. any ideas.

Maybe check the lines to and from the fuel filter

i know for experiecne that the bottom hose to the fuel filter wears down and makes a bubble and burst..try and also identify the source of the smell..i personally would not start it, get a mechanic to check it out asap...the smell of fuel is never good..

i am a mechanic definately coming from the exhaust once started, i think the injectors, but all tested good (leak test) fuel reg looks good, any other ideas redlinegtr

have you noticed any fluid around the injector rail and/or around the lines leading towards the injectors...Cant really help anymore havent encountered a problem like this. Give it a couple more hours and more people will be online to help ya out..

doesnt seem to be leaking around the injectors, tanks anyway redlinegtr

err couple of seconds isnt a problem starting the car, mine takes a second or two no problems ive noticed, smell of fuel is just cold engine from rich mixture, i dont think its a problem though
