Turbos On Z Tune Gtr

does anyone know what turbos were used in the z tune . All the articles i've read just say that they are a race spec ihi turbo. What are they similar to, gtss or hks2530 ?

This isn't very technical but im PRETTY sure they were basically a 1 off type unit/modified of an existing turbo.

Deffinately on the money about them being IHI though.

they are bigger than an SS so would be closer to 2530 in terms of size, but I don't know off the top of my head what the exact sizing/trims are.

As above, they are definately significantly larger than a GT-SS turbine and Beer Baron is spot on, if anything they would be a closer match to a GT2530.

After Dynoing, tuning and driving the Z-tune, I'd bet they are the same spec as the apexi AX53B60's.

Looked and felt very very similiar........nice balance of response and power.
