I have a starlet EP82, i'm starting to like the starlet alot now but on the same token, being a Nissan fan, i'm was thinking of what is Nissan answer to the Starlet and i belive the MICRA is the answer.

I see one or two Micra every now and then but that's about it, what are they like? Are they easy to mod? Do they come with turbo and most importantly, can we import one from Japan?

Thanks

if it's built 1988 or earlier then yeah sure. if it's built later than that then most likely not. bear in mind the japanese charges (buyer fee) and shipping, custsoms and tax total nearly $4000 for any car (obviously the more $$ the car the more taxes, but even a car for free will cost $3500 in costs). then add compliance ($1500 pre 88 or $3000 SEVS) so even if you get a car for free you are looking at $5000 in costs BEFORE you even register it (add another $1000 for rego costs). So that's $6000 to get a car from japan to driving on your street and that's if the car was for free. so I'd say it's not worth it. just buy a micra here if you want one so bad. they are about $500.

That looks MAD,

Hope NISSAN Aust put some juices into it. Do we know when they are available?

Oh and that Micra I posted up before is the Micra-R, powered by a mid engined VQ35DE (350z engine). Not slated for production though
