Car Keeps Cutting Out ..?!?

Hey Guys

Been haveing some probelems wiht my car ( R 33 Series 2 GTS-T manual )

the car seems to just cut off whn its driven over long distances... whn i am on the freeways its fine

but whn it come to traffic after the freeway the revs seem to drop a little and whn i tap on the acclerator .. it dips donw more (ALMOST CUTS OUT) then it revs up .. a bit delayed. I dont have this prob whn i m usually driveing ..only if the car has been driver for a while.

i thaught it coud be injectors .. maybe C02 sensor .. but i m not sure .. anyi have had the same probele

With the engine cutting out when slowing down, try checking over your intercooler piping for any leaks. I remember my engine cutting out while slowing down and it took ages for me to find out what was wrong. It was just a leaking pipe.

Also, if you've got an atmo bov, it could be that.

I use to have this problem too... I know this sounds corny... but I increased my boost, changed my battery over and it works fine... so yeah, try that and like Adam said - check your piping for any leakage .

alternator or battery maybe?

how old is the battery?

an auto electrician may be able to diagnose it a little better..
