I spoke to a mate i work with today (he's been on holiday) who won 2 trophies for his Mirage at AutoSalon. One of his Trophies was taken after the presentations on the sunday.

Unfortunately he has been told by someone that it was someone form the "SKYLINE CLUB" that took it. I defended everyone involved with the SAU displying knowing most of the people involved i no one here would do anything like that. He didn't specify SAU he just referred to it as the Skyline Club.

AutoSalon are sending him a replacement trophy.

I don't think it helped when i told him we won enough we didn't need anymore

people need to have proof before they start accusing people of stealing stuff. i really dont believe anyone from SAU or the R31 club would steal someone else's trophy. its bullshite.

queen st were the one that caused the trouble on sunday after the presentations, but they have been disqualified since due to a judge being hit.

I total agree and said that to him. He has been going off second hand information as he has been overseas for the last few weeks.

He also mentioned this due to their car not being judged correctly or something.

im sorry but i dont believe that queens st's excuse for stealing a trophy is that their car wasnt judged correctly. i think it was more the fact that they expected to win, and when they didnt they went and stole someone elses trophy

sad very very sad. and they should be ashamed of themselves.

skyline club would be SAU, who else

umm...is that Sambo kneeling behind PK?...damn hot thing

Other skyline club is the R31 club, but I REALLY doubt it would have been any them either. They had their own award too, so seems someone is just shifting blame and looking for an easy scapegoat.

The person stealing trophies is and adelaide skyline that displayed by itself and has nothing to do with SAU.

I will not name anyone but i am sure some of you might be able to work it out.

Yes, Queen street have now been banned from Autosalon for good for threatening a judge and almost causing an all in brawl at the end of the night.

    • God I love shiny engine parts 🥰 Are you looking for more horsetorques in the mid range? (Smaller cam) Or just more horsetorques every where? (Big heads and bigger revs) Assumption: they were not bought late night shopping on the interwebs after drinking too many beers, which is typically how I pull pins on things......🤣 The evolution of your car is coming along nicely, I sometimes wish I didn't get bored with my cars and keep flipping them, maybe the MX5 will be different
    • I got the hazards working! Turned out it was disconnected! Indicator stock still isn’t working. I took the steering shroud off and there seems to be a third connection missing I see two small white connectors but they don’t fit the indicator switch unless they need a short lead to convert the connector type. Can someone point me in the direction of the wiring diagram for the indicator switch?   https://share.icloud.com/photos/0e8ReiFSLBVJsTPUKKfA_1IdQ
    • All of your suspension bushes/bolts etc, should also only ever be tightened when the car is sitting with full weight too.   IE, jack it back up, shove a heap of stuff down so you can lower the wheels onto so the car is "on the ground" but you have room to get under it.   It's why when properly done, you should be able to remove the shock and spring, but the arms won't go to 100% droop. If you don't do the above, you'll destroy your bushes.
