R34 Airbag Drama

Any of you guys know how I can turn off the airbag light in a 1999 gtr TT. Nissan can't do it!!

Any help greatly app.

is the airbag light flashing or is it on all the time??

the light is on all the time, regardless. I disconected the battery for 2 weeks to ensure that the system was fuuly powered down, but it made no difference. The light was on when we got the car, as the pass side seat air bag was missing, and after installing a brand new one from nissan it is still the same!!!

normally if its on all the time, from my understanding it means one of 2 things:

1) The air bag module is stuffed (airbag computer)

2) something is wrong with the connections to the airbag.

I'd think its more a problem with the module.

sound like it could be true, as the light is supposed to flash if there is a fault, Maybe I'll check all the connections before I replace the control module!!
