hey lads, doing an rb25 conversion into an s13, using the rb25 loom and ecu, have (well i think i have) all powers and earths wired into the car and ecu, etc... (Couldnt find a wiring table anywhere for it, just have to go by the wiring diagrams for both cars).. Now i have everything working as it should, just no signal coming from the ecu for the coilpacks, have signal leaving the CAS, injectors are clicking, fuel pump relay working, everything else seems to be working as it should, even have a power and earth at the coilpack, just no signal?? anyone got any idea's??

have checked the ecu, have no signal leaving it, just a very small (weak) constant earth...

Another thing i have noticed, if i leave th ign turned on for 5 min's or so the igniter pack get seriously warm, when i checked the power going to it, seems to be coming back though the coil packs to it? maybe this is normal? i dunno...

now, only thing i havent wired up yet are knock sensors? shouldnt have ay affect on the spark? should it?

Any help would be appericated....

Knock sensors have no effect on the workings of the coils.

Coils have power, then feed power to the ignitor, then each ignitor circuit is switched to earth by the ECU.

Yeah, i thought so..

So, why would the ecu not be sending a signal? the signals seem to be coming from the CAS to the ecu..

What did I say? The ECU DOES NOT have an output signal - it switches the ignitor to earth to fire the coil.

Is this question because the coils don't actually fire?
