Rb26 Stock Redline

there is a good reason why R33's and 34's have a higher redline than 32's =]

Care to share what you think that reason is?

Its yellow zone from 7500 till 8000 where the redline starts btw

You will probably find that there’s nothing to gain from revving a 26 that high unless you have really big turbo’s which I assume you wouldn’t as you would be after response for drifting. The rod bolts would probably be the first thing to let go revving a stock motor that high. Keep it under 8K for safety sake

its not the redline. its the rev limiter wich kills it. it will have issues if your over 8k for an extended time. aslo keeping oil in it is important. standard yuo WILL get oil surge by just accelerating flat out in 1st.

thanks for the info. im gonna run a gt30r turbo like the single setup. im running a twin pulse manifold and a .63 rear housing should help with the response. only looking for 400hp! im gonna set my rev limiter to 7500 should be nice!
