Weird Speedo And Sound Problem

when i put my keys to "on" without starting the engine... this weird tick tick noise starts coming from the engine... and my speedo starts to creep up.. and stays at 10kph ...

any idea what is wrong with it??

battery is dead though... cause i can't start the car or even wind up my window.. but i'm not sure if its battery related..

do the ignition lights come on still?if they dont then it could be just cos they batt is dead but if they do then i have absolutly no idea but shit yea thats a weird problem.try charging the battery on a trickle charge and try it again all i can suggest

lol, funny enough.

Exact same problem happened with me in my magna, turns out it was a blown fuse due to my dodgey HU wiring capabilities =P

my headlights would also light up when i broke too

have a look at your fuses (my rear light fuse + something else was fried) hope to be of help.

none of the fuse is dead... replaced battery and it's gone..

the ignition was on when it happened..

i still don't understand how it can happen even though the battery is flat.. what can cause the speedo to get to 10kph?
