hi people i have r33 gtst just wondering what type of springs people have used in there cars that give it that agressive look. In saying that i dont want to lower it to much i scrape speed humps? lol regardJim

King springs are an option, they make springs in a few different heights.

Lows, superlows, and ultra lows. Minimum your looking at paying is about $230 for a set.

A lot of people going with BILSTEIN shocks and springs for good handling as well as looks.

SYDNEYKID had a group buy style setup happening for BILSTEIN suspension, shocks and springs, all set up for awesome handling in the group buy section, not sure if there still available.

Otherwise you can go with coilovers, most are height adjustable.

If looks is the most important to you, then just get a set of lowered KING springs.

a quick wheel allignment after fitting.

that will "look" the way you want it to.

cost you about $350 all up

i've got king lows with 17" rims.

hasn't ever scraped on driveways or speedhumps, but there's still too much gap in the wheel arch for my liking.

i might go with the superlows soon..

want coilovers eventually but this will do until i can afford them.

Superlows are designed to sit just on legal height (100mm) if not a little bit higher.

Wheels will not bottom out, if your referring to standard wheels (16").

so i have 18inch rims with 265 rears would people recommend lows instead of super lows?regardsjim

I dropped my ride to the point were the top of the tyre is just hidden or level with the guard, according to a preformance handling book "i was reading on the net". At this point the guard is a good indicator that you are at optimum hight for preformance handling, also not adversly effecting stroke and geometry ie. loads of neg camber. but you should experiment with different springs.
