Does A31 Stock Speedo Have Speed Sensor Or Sender ?

Hi!

Right now I use my stock rb24s speedo gauge in my A31. I also use the rb24s mt gearbox, same as rb20det one.

Speedo gets its reading from the gearbox via a speedo cable. Now I got the problem, I can't get my rb20det ecu to read speed.

Does the a31 rb20de speedo have some kind of speed sender or speed sensor built in, so I can wire it straight to the ecu, to read speed ?

Yeah, the cluster would have speed sensor built into it because when my speedo cable broke, I lost 105km/hr speed chime and auto door lock functions.

Not sure which wire on the cluster runs to the ECU though, it may be written on the back of the cluster on the circuit board plastic sheet thingy.

Is it somewhere inside the whole cluster or its just attached to the speedo dial ?

I'm pretty sure it would be that white box on the back of the cluster which the cable goes into. Same thing on R32 skylines
