I've just installed a hicas lock bar in my car and gotten rid of all the piping, solenoids and routed a cooler in with the oil feed an return pipes. just wondering on what everyone else did with all the crap thats left over, do you's just chuck it out or stash it in the corner with the rest of the gear? also i never realised how much weight there was in all that gear

You will never reinstall it so why keep the filthy smelly thing? The only parts worth keeping are the lines if you ever decide that 600hp isn't enough and you need to upsize the fuel feed

im the same, i've got all the lines/solenoids sitting in the corner creating cobwebs, i wanna throw it out but get this feeling that maybe i should just leave it there for safety sake

i ended up selling it to the scrap metal guy got a few bob for it.

yeh i cant understand why some people just block it off at the rear, all that shyt is so heavy, i chucked it all out but i left the two lines running along the rail of the car there just incase for fuel like BHdave said

Just out of interest Turboedsloth how heavy is all that stuff? I have heard all sorts of varying estimates.

all up mine weighed just under 20kgs according to the scrap guys scales, chances are they were out. i left the front lines in cos i hooked in an oil cooler

left it connected to the car and all hooked up so it does its job
