In the US and need parts

I am having a tough time finding stuff for the RB25DET, I cant just run to my closest performance shop and get something. Also like stock parts as in water pump and timing belt. Just wondering if someone knew of a good couple of places to look.

These are usually available from any Nissan dealer.

ooer an RB25det in a 180sx... your best bet would be to source parts from canada or even direct from japan (coz frienght will be less). Get in touch with and get to know any of the guys who are stationed in Japan (US navy ppl) and they should be able to purchase and ship small parts to you.

Just try to avoid the usual non performance rice based dealers in the US as they tend to cater JDM parts to make your friendly civic look like every other car under the sun. Doubt they'd know how/where to order real performance/JDM parts.

No one here seems to know where to get the parts at, we are all just a bunch of stupid americans, lol. Actually I loooked up shipping and it wasnt to bad, its about the same from japan, and I cant read japanese. It makes it really hard to browse japanese sites. I didnt know that canada would have parts for it, those crazy canadians. Well thank you very much.

Hmm try http://www.takakaira.co.jp its in enlish and they ship to the US. Altho dunno if they have stock factory parts and spares.

Canada might have stuff for skylines coz the import laws in canada are much more relaxed than in the US, there's more 'lines there than the US.

If you're really desperate, lemme know and if they're easily sourcable parts I'll ship em to you. (after you've sent me the $$$ first anyways )

Are some of the valvetrain parts the same on the RB25DET and RB26DETT, like could you get valve retainers for the rb26dett. I was asking cuz there seems to be alot more parts for the rb26dett than the rb25det
