R33 Power Fc

Hi all im having issues with my gtst r33 auto rb25 so im thinking of putting in a power fc to help diagnose issues anyone got any feed back regarding these and any links i may pick one up cheap

ps engine just dies atm and idles really bad but is intermitant usally after about 2 or 3 mins it starts playin up espeacilly when air is colder

your car is turbo yeah?

could be many things mate. dont just go out and get a power fc to diagnose your problem.

might be something as small as air leaking in your i/c plumbing.

Best place to diagnose the problem is on a dyno as it could be anything.

Unfortunately Apexi stopped making the PFC for R33 GTST so you'd have to find a 2nd hand one.

Even then it's best to tune it on a dyno.

Go get an R33 RB26 Power FC from Nengun $910. Add $150 for some wiring mods and you're set. Get one b4 they get discontinued too!

I thought Power FC's didn't function on the auto skylines.

problem is gone for now replaced airflow

Yeah, was going to suggest checking/cleaning the AFM if that's what you meant by 'airflow'

Also, Power FC isn't made for auto R33's as suggested already

k still not pulling thru the boost as hard it should goes good but i can feel its holding back im a bit sus on the boost set up so im going to a dyno monday as suggested the afm has definatley made a big differance so im guessing its a few things all compounding together good news is coils are all good still can outrun a ss cdore v8 ute so im happy for now let you knoww tuesday what they come up with misses a bit at the end of the rev range but feels like im running 7psi when its set to 12psi
