Ok browsed the forum bout finding an actual organisation or individual that sells a r32 gtr grille

Im actually in Sydney NSW Australia

And Thought by now someone would be reproducing them by the mass with the amount of demand from the gtst boy's wanting to get rid of that ugly flat front, (reminds me so much of the gsl mistubishi cordiain appose to the gsr)

So here goes??

Is there a relyable source inwhich i could obtain a gtr grille from once i purchase my r32 skyline gtst??

Dont mind freight!!

Ok two places to source one from that i know of:

1. Advan Performance @ Silverwater - $170 approx

2. Lincorp @ Camellia (Rosehill) 9638 7193 - $300

The Advan one isnt an original and you'll have to drill two small holes at the back of the grill to tie it to the grill mounts. Delivery time is bloody huge too cos its gotta come from NZ and trust me they're in no hurry to order it for you anyway (mine took 10weeks). However the final product is good.

Lincorp on the other hand sell orginal ones with built in mounting holes... but are almost twice the price

I bought the Advan one...

mr rb20

im actually in the process of buying one hopefully as soon as i sell my car...

just wanted to sus of the grill situation!!!

hopefully i buy one already chopped up and grilled

if not ill have to get rid of the front lip myself with the jigsaw!! :D

hate the gtst front end!! :D

Yeah i dont like the GTST front end much either...

As you can see from my pic under my name i dont have my bonnet on yet... hehe.... as for cutting the lip off yourself, i dont recommend it - the bonnet has layers and as my panel beater said when i asked him for a quote to cut it "it would be a head-f#ck and around $900 including a respray".

GTR bonnets go cheaply and frequently on this site. More often than not they are gunmetal grey for $500-$700. Buy the real thing or go carbon fibre.

You'll need to take out the GTST latch and replace with GTR one around $100 from wrecker...Hope this helps

Oh it can be done but there are two layers that need to be welded together once its cut.

But probably the most difficult part is following the gradual arc of the shape of the nose on the R32 when cutting the lip off.... id hate to have the responsibility of doing it...

this guy on SDU managed to do it however...
