Does anyone know if I buy a R32 GTS4 damaged will I be able to put all my R32 GTSt parts into the GTS4 shell?

Can the GTSt cross member fit?

Will my GTSt coil overs fit into GTS4?

Can the 4wd system be removed and 2wd running gear fitted?

Is the rear cradle the same?

Does the GTS4 have front wishbone suspension the same as GTSt?

I have the opportunity to get a GTS4 shell to replace my wrecked GTSt but I'm not sure if it will be possible to have everything bolt up to a GTS4 shell.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Rgds, Grippy

yes and no. the rear is all the same. the fornt is different. the chassis is totally different to an R32 GTS or GTSt... its actually the same chassis as a GTR. The hub assemblies that bolt up to the fornt allow for front drive shafts, whereas the GTSt ones dont. The rails have a kink in them to allow for these drive shafts as well, which might mean that GTSt hubs may bnot bolt up so easily.

I haven't heard of anyone doing it as the GTS4 chassis is heavier than a GTSt one, so its kinda pointless. Find out if and how anyone's fitted a RWD front assembly to a GTR and you'll have your answer.

yeah, sell your bits off

to make it into a GTS-t, you'll need RWD gearbox, remove the halfshafts and possibly get the GTS-t front subframe if you wanted to go that far

It's a waste of time, all the ATTESSA gear will still be mostly in it and make it heavy still, sell up and get a GTS-t I think

if you've got all the GTSt parts, maybe score an R32 GTS or auto GTSt sedan of some sort and swap all the parts in, rather than dealing with the headaches of a AWD drivetrain and chassis.

Thanks heaps for all the info. It seems to be as I expected with the GTS4 shell being heavy like a GTR. I think I will let the GTS4 offer go and look to find a GTST as I had before. I was really happy with the GTST anyway.

I will post my final results later when I get myself a new shell but looks like it will be a GTST.

The tough part is finding a straight R32 GTST shell as they all seem to have the same fate as mine did. Put into the wall somewhere!!!

Thanks again for all input it has been excellent info.
