hey, stupid questioon really, but couldn't find anything, is it safe to put in bigger injectors plus a microtech then drive around for a couple of days, just till i get it tuned, better i put them in then paying someone, just thought i'd check if anyones done it or whats gonna happen?

the car wont start.

you will need to change the settings in the ecu to register the different flow injectors.

if you dont know how!

then let your tuner install your injectors and the ecu.

i have driven around with bone stock rb25 ecu+740cc injectors+z32afm (no piggybacks/fuellling compensation) for a few days before i got an appointment with my tuner. it ran ok below 3500rpm. above it was just undrivable. too rich i guess...

yeah i'm just a tight bastard i spose but i like to do any work on the car, what do you mean it was undriveable above 3500?

these are 555cc nismos, might give it ago on the standard ecu, see what happens.......

i drove mine around for a couple of days with a pfc, z32 and 720cc injectors.. just hadto put the duty cycle low (around 70% or so on the pfc) then just take it easy while i bedded the clutch.. tuned the car.. perfect

so far have done 4 track outings on the same set of plugs and their still perfect.

your going to wire your own microtech?

Do you know how to install injectors properly?

the microtechs plug and play, and yeah i can install injectors, but wouldn't have a clue about prrogamming duty cycles and wot not!

does anyone know how to on the microtechs?

i dont think there would be any probs with you idea, give it a go if it doesnt start put standard ones back it, if it starts baby it down to the tuner.. all good. might run like a pig but whatever.

lot of people i know cruisin around with big inj and no tune yet hehe
