Japtastic-UK
Sorry this is in the wrong section but I need an answer quickly. Can I start the car with out the gearbox and clutch attached? I need to eliminate something as the cause of my vibration. Just want to double check just in case it damages something? Take ur clutch off, bolt ur gearbox up with a coupla bolts, throw ur starter motor on ur bell housing and franks ur aunty. Only ur engine spins. blind_elk
You should be able to bolt the separator plate and starter in position - just need shorter bolts. Or lots of washers to take up the slack.
