going overseas in late october. im selling the car because i dont know when ill be getting back... could be gone for three years.

are you interested?

yes im interested, but have to sell my Celica first. I understand that u probably spent more than your price your selling for, but realistically its worth round 12000-13000 depending on wat the buyer is willing to pay. Well thats wat i will be willing to pay, probably closer to 12k though

I see you found your way to the forums! :P

Seen this car at uni on numerous occassions and everytime I see it, it's always very well kept. The paint is like new.

Goodluck with the sale mate. Shouldn't take long to sell this.

basicly im starting to open to prices lower than 15k, id take 14k today if offered. but i turned down 13k last weekend, thats probably the lowest id go when i start to get desperate. untill then i will consider all offers...

ye i understand. There was a similar car to yours selling for 14000, sold for $12500. Very similar to yours, same paint and everything. Good luck with the sale

Either its not a 92 model or the dash has been changed cos it has the blue 89 model cluster & also has the 89 spec front indicators but later model interior.

It's a 92. i could be wrong but im pretty sure that the 89 spec indicators were completly orange...

Other way round, 89 model has slightly clear indicators while later models had completely orange indicators.

Anyway nice looking car & good luck with the sale! :)

    • Exhaust end of this month, and then tune after that whenever there is availability. Still tossing up between a pure 98 tune or a flex 98/e85 combo.  The (lack of) milage in e85 isnt great. Start to get anxiety if i go for a long drive and there arent any united servo's nearby
    • I mean I can be OCD'y but this is really over the top. At that point why not just run a full wideband fuel controller? Especially if you run 3 widebands. The system works pretty well, which is trimming low load stuff to be within a few percent of the base map. Pre-engine _change_ the base map was only 1-2% off, depending on ambient temp, elevation, etc. Under load the LS is really very straightforward to tune, enough that a wideband closed loop would be overkill. If I really cared (and I hope I don't) I can always just go back to the MAF system the car actually came with. Which does all those nice calculations for me (temp, altitude, etc), now that you can buy 102mm MAF's that do not cause restrictions.
    • Good afternoon Team , just a quick update on performance mods  Current Mods list (Installed) HKS - Power Editor (Came with the car) looks to be some kind of boost controller RV37 Skyline 400R (SKYLINE) | FUJITSUBO  - Cat Back  RV37 Skyline 400R (SKYLINE) | FUJITSUBO  - Front Pipe AMS  - INFINITI Q50/Q60 RED ALPHA COLD AIR INTAKE KIT AMS  - Performance Heat Exchanger Intercooler Not Yet AMS Alpha Performance Full Race Down Pipes  - to be installed in May
    • I'd be installing 2x widebands and using the NB simulation outputs to the ECU.
    • Nah, it's different across different engines and as the years went on. R32 era RB20, and hence also RB26, the TPS SWITCH is the idle command. The variable resistor is only for the TCU, as you say. On R33 era RB25 and onwards (but probably not RB26, as they still used the same basic ECU from the R32 era), the idle command is a voltage output of close to 0.45V from the variable resistor.
