Hi,

I was just wondering if i really need to have the Neo Engine cover on my r34? I have heard it makes the coilpacks run hotter by not allowing air to disperse under the hood.

Just looking for opinions....Stories etc..

Any help would be most appreciated.

Chris

:) dont worry about it.. i run without the cover and coil pack covers.. should drop temps by heaps..

but keep it on for 50more rick KW..

meh think of it as weight reduction...

mate u have posted it in the wrong section.

try the maintenance forums :D

so what. i post in here.. wanna get angry at me? i think its perfectly fine to post here. i would rather get the input and opinions of ppl from QLD as i knw them or most of them than PPL from WA or NSW..

It seems theres one in each State. Not related to Nismoid by any chance? :(

bahaha..

on the talk about covers, does that steel sheet over the turbo housing need to be there on the RB20's? its a pain in the ass to work around and if i can piss it off i will gladly.

simple answer, no matter wat mods u have= NO :whistling:

Nah you dont need it, its just a looksy thing, but i would strongley suggest you leave it if you can, its a great dust cover and im serious. And its easy to take of and clean. Just keep it.

i would keep it on if possible. the more heat in the exhaust the more respnse u get and also less heat that will radiate into the electrcs aorund the engine bay..
