Hey guys,

Bought this car off a mate and basically i have to go back to my physio placement for uni in a few weeks, so i cant work anymore.

The car is 1992, Black 5 speed manual turbo

It has

Sunroof

FMIC

S15 rims

Lowered springs

BOV

Strut Brace

Pod

3"cat back exhaust

Alpine Stereo

Heavy duty clutch New

Just been dynoed at southern hi tech dyno by John Keen

Made 153 rwkw at 12 psi so engine and turbo are both healthy

ASKING 10, 490 o.n.o

Car has recently run out of NSW rego so if your in another state, just need to take it down to your local transport station and get rego changed over to your name. I will get the car registered in SA for an extra $500.

Car is in good nick, I went and checked it out myself.

Reason I didn't take it as previous question before: It's not registered and last thing I need is the trouble getting it on the road, especially at the price he is asking, and I wasn't going to negotiate on anything I couldn't/wouldn't commit to, in other words stuff him around. I didn't get a chance to check out the underneath chassis for any previous significant accidents though (it was at night).

I didn't waste your time, I was completely upfront. I simply checked it out. You said you were going to register it on Tuesday and I came back to this thread to see if you'd updated it etc then I'd make an offer. As I said (and when I checked it out); I wasn't going to buy a car that could *possibly* take time to get on the road with extra costs.

I also offered compensation just for your time anyway (beers or some cash wouldn't have bothered me). I also made it clear that I needed a ride quickly since I had no other mode of transport.

As I said before, good luck with the sale as I have already purchased my other car.

      Glad that worked out for you. I think my Joyeauto one is coming this week but I won't get to install it til closer to end of October. Will update when I get around to it. Just standard CP and nothing else. Hopefully the cameras all work without needing to get out of CP and get back in as they advertised. My other worry is sound quality. Fingers crossed!

      Yeah, it is possible. But like many related things (ie, alternators), it's getting harder to find anyone who does and will, given the change to just throwing shit away and replacing with new cheap shit from Chinese factories. If you want to pursue the option of rebuilding, you'll have to dig up an auto A/C specialist or three to find out whether they still do.

      There are a few, but not that many. Also, there are no such rules when it comes to importing, just taxes and paperwork in general. The only rule I can think of is excise tax, which is 3.1% for cars with an engine under 2 liters and 18.6% over. About mods coming to the car, I've already bought Tein Flex Z coilovers and TE37s S Plus in diamond dark gunmetal (front 8.5" x 18" +35, rear 9.5" x 18" +22). Rims will be here in March. When the car arrives, I'll probably do a custom turboback and some exterior mods. I will keep you updated on my progress here! :)

      Hi can anyone shed some light, pin 104 and 106 from rb26 ecu is not connected is this important? If so will i need the fpcm and wire this in?    car runs but lumpy and sparks plugs getting really black soot on them. Fueling issues by looks of it have t attached these 2 wires as dont know where it goes?
