R33 S2 High Beam Bulbs

Does anyone know whats supposed to be in the high beam socket in an R33 S2?

The bloke i bought my car off has 12v 55Watters in there and i have a feeling thats the wrong value, as thats the same as whats in the low beam socket?

that sounds about right, 12v 55w H1, be careful, if you put a too higher wattage globe in there they can melt the sockets

If you have a look, the low beam has a cover on the bulb so it doesn't blind everyone on the road (it also point towards the ground more), whereas the high beam has no cover (and points to a longer distance).

You rarely needs to use the high beam anyway. And they are 12v 55w H1 (if you don't like the output of the light, get philips vision plus or crystal vision...but you rarely use them.)
