ahh 33 s2
hey my Z32 afm is maxing out at around 250rwhp. now i no this is a long way from what it shoulg be. i was told that a hole heap of Z32 afm where released faulty by some one and that i prolly have a faulty one.. if it is maxing out so early it does sound faulty in some way or is it just dirty... is this a possible reason my car is making fairly low power with its best a 247hp at 1bar with pfc ebc splitfires fuel pump full zorst fmic. also how many tuning shops should it take to notice this as a problem.. ive been to 2 and no one said anything so far Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/184112-z32-afm/ Share on other sites

abu
What ECU are you running and how do you know its the Z32 it self? Could be an issue with the tune it self, but will help to know what ECU you are running.. Richieb
What is the last number on the sticker on the MAF, is it J70, cos they are std ones? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/184112-z32-afm/#findComment-3334451 Share on other sites
abu
What is the last number on the sticker on the MAF, is it J70, cos they are std ones? Yeah also check the sticker to make sure its a Z32 AFM, that would get you off to an easy start. Also Z32 is larger in diameter to standard, so a bit of alteration in the piping would have had to have occurred when installed? The Mafia
how do you know its maxing out? Is it actually reading really high volts, or do you think its maxing out because you have low power? Richieb
Ok, ...... What Engine is it? What mods have been done to the motor? When they installed it, did they adjust the PFC to suit? With the motor NOT running, what does the "Sensor" page on the PFC commander say it is reading? What is the last number on the orange/red sticker read, it should start with a "J"? You have to remember there is a WHOLE LOT of adjustments to be made to the PFC when you change from standard to the Z32. It isn't just a "Bolt-On instant power device".
