Getrag Transmax Z Alternative

hi guys , i know for the r34gtr getrag boxes, the best oils to use would be the transmax z from castrol. But i cant seem to find it here in my country. Are there any alternatives to the transmax z ? Currently the only castrol ATF that is supplied here is the TQ-D and TQ-M if im not mistaken. I have also been recommended the motul ATF but im not very sure as the getrag is highly selective in its oils before the synros goes away . Suggestions anyone ?

the nissan oil would be matic-d

penrite have released a synthetic 70 weight oil specificly for fibre synchro equipped cars. aka t56 tremec etc etc.

is this for the actual gearbox or the transfer case?

yeap, this is for the actual gearbox. Is matic-d an automatic transmission fluid ? Some GTR's here running on motul gearbox oils. Any opinions anyone ?

penrite sin gear oil 70.

as long as its a synthetic atf. dont use the mitsubishi/kia/hyuandai one.

some good point's to remember

Castrol Transmax Z is a fully synthetic automatic transmission fluid

Castrol Transmax Z is a DEXRON III type automatic transmission fluid

transmax z is rated at SAE Grade 0W-20

I stopped using the Castrol and started using the Royal Purple Synchromax and seemed to have much better results with it (when I still had the Getrag in my car).

where did you get that viscosity from? cos its thicker than most.

its from the castrol website, its definatley not that thick hey, i always looked at it as a rather light weight oil
