i went to check out a r34 for sale today and i saw that it had a pink/purple sticker as a compliance plate.

i thought compliance plates were green and were drilled onto the engine bay? i was told by a neigbouring workshop that this had changed.

who would i talk to over finding ouit wheather its a real compliance plate? the car is currently a repaired writeoff. all it needs is a blueslip to be regoed as long as it is complied. the car was original purchased from pickles and they usually dont sell imports with compliance plates but i have seen a couple with them

yeah... some places I know have started placing them on the passengers side door well to avoid this.

Yep fair few new cars do actually have them on the inner passenger door.

And your right, they do actually change color when you peal them, to prevent re-birthing.
