+40 Offset?

hey guys, looked around but didnt find my answer, so gonna ask if +40 offset would fit on a r33 s2 nonturbo?

Depends on width of rim...on a 8/9" rim yes +40 will definetly fit "inside" the gaurd.

+40 is factory offset for most skylines. If you are getting new wheels aim for lower offsets eg: +30, +35 on an 8"/9" wide rim.

Depending on what width you're talking about, +40 should fit. The NA skylines have the smaller brakes (as far as I know) so most wheels should fit.

When going for wheels, try to go for the lowest offset in my opinion. It might be a bit hard to find a good set of wheels with good offsets in 4 stud though.

There are plenty of 8/9 pairs in decent offsets in 4 stud as s13's run them. look for somewhere around +30 8 inch front and +35 9 inch rear. Thats on the conservative side too. You could probably space them out a bit on a 33 and still have space inside the guards.

mind my 33 is a gts4 so ill be needing all four wheels the same size ><. most of the wheels in the shops i have came across that MIGHT fit my NA gts4 usually come in 17x7 +42 offset.

If there are rims I really want but the offset dosen't fit well would I be able to use spacers? are they a good idea? any risks?

Hope you not you buying cheap rims from local shops..

Search around on here (for sale section) and you will find some nice quailty jap rims (with perfect offsets for your 33)

Be patient as well..

You dont need to spend 3k for jap rims (if you thinking ohhh its gonna cost me a fortune)

You can find hectic (haha) rims, for under 2k easily!!

Even brand new if you look hard enough!!
