Hello

I have a R32 GTS-T

I have to replace my factory shocks, but dont have alot of money. I have seen many companie's 1300 and up coil overs. I was wondering if there is a cheaper option.

Would used coil overs be ok? If so, what is a good way to check to see if they are any good or not?

I am going for street, with a comfortable ride. I like to turn corners and get good speed going on the highway. I live in Japan.

Help

I haven't actually had experience with aftermarket coilovers, but you can purchase second hand ones for as cheap as $700. Usually the cheaper you go, the more chance there is of it being damaged/stuffed/doesn't work.

There's no 'good' way of checking to see whether the shock is stuffed or not as far as I know. The only way to find out for sure is to put them on your car and go for a drive.
