Buzz Noise From Fuel Tank

Looking at purchasing a car to add to the family, its a R32 GTR with a little work done on botl ons, something I noticed when checking it out was a buzzing noise coming from the fuel tank/pump?

This is noticable over the exhaust system when outside the car at the rear, im my current GTR you cant hear the fuel pump even from inside the car when its running

I was thinking of taking it to a local Nissan performance guy to get checked out but would it be more likely to be a crook fuel pump, or an aftermarket one with higher flow rate?

Would i be safe in assuming that this should only be a $200-$300 thing to replace?

aftermarket ones tend to be louder, if your paranoid take it out and make sure its clean.

replacements go from $160ish+
