hey just a thought could it be a carbon build up problem subaru s do it badly and that is the symptoms. check your throttle body and intake .thats my 2 cents worth all else has been checked .

my rb25 ceffie does the exact same thing, id be keen to see what fixs urs, my timming is way off though and i duno why, its literaly off the crank scale's

no, your timing light is just reading double, most of them do this. you can either half the value your given or double loop the timing loop.
