BAMR33
There pretty good at cracking and gaining no performance. But if you like taking manifolds on and off over and over again go for it. Evil34
I would be looking at a 6boost manifold if you are going to go with anything as they run a lifetime warranty and look really good. dangerman4
low mount or high mount? both will make an improvement over the stock log. low mount will crack before the high mount, but you should still get a a couple of years if you brace you exhaust near the cat. 6 Boost and ETM are both awesome products but high mount is the only sensible option. low mount with a merge collecter is a horendous piece of steel that looks terrible. low mount then yes get a stainless one for under $200 (around 15kws more then stock) high mount then get a ETM for $1000 (around 15kws more then stainless low mount) both figures are quoted above 250kws Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/184414-stainless-steel-manifold/#findComment-3338709 Share on other sites

Cubes
There's a newly designed china manifold soon to hit ebay. Similar to the old low/side mount china manifold but a much better pipe merge design. Essentially 3 runners merge at a collector (so 2 collectors in total) then those 2 collectors runs to the t3 flange collector. If that makes sense. R31Nismoid
low mount or high mount?both will make an improvement over the stock log. low mount will crack before the high mount, Depends where it comes from I know a low mount stainless manifold that was on my car for the best part of 18 years and never cracked. If the manifold is well made, there is no reason it cant stand the test of time. But then, at $1200 or so for a decent one... the money can be spent elsewhere, really depends on the budget and level of modification to the car Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/184414-stainless-steel-manifold/#findComment-3339310 Share on other sites

msnismo
I run a 6 boost manifold and I love it ... although the ebay china ones do last a while if you HPC them... Jeremy runs a china one on his 350-400rwkw 32 GTR took 2 and half years to crack .... and lets say he doesn't drive like a granny ..lol Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/184414-stainless-steel-manifold/#findComment-3339949 Share on other sites

D-max look like the regular ebay china special with very poor pipe merge. 1400r
looks can be deceiving I'd like to see a comparo done with both manifold present other than just looking at pics the Japanese dont seem to like crap quality stuff check how long its taken for T70's to appear on yahoo and there still no company's flogging them Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/184414-stainless-steel-manifold/#findComment-3340038 Share on other sites
r33_racer
we had a china copy one, changed to 6boost after the china copy started falling apart after about 2-3 race meets. We picked up more power and about 400rpm less lag. Never gone back and never will. I havent seen any manifolds compare to 6boost or etm designs yet in terms of performance and durability. Not even big brand ones from japan have in one area or the other.
