Hey guys just purchased some Tanabe Coilovers for my R32.

I'm having trouble adjusting the height while they are off the car.

There are two "locking plates" which I assume need to go the opposite way to each other to unlock, but I'm finding it near impossible to crack them.

One uses a bigger C-Spanner then the other. Are the threads just your usual lefty loosy, righty tighty?

Also I read the DIY Tutorial and was wondering when I got installing these, if the eye (connects to the bottom) is bolted on, can I twist/rotate the top so the two studs go into the holes?

Cheers.

lol yes just normal threads......so lefty loosey! although you need to undo the bottom one first. If you don't have the right c spanners you can loosen it with a hammer and big screwdriver to move it - clean the thread down first

Yes you can twist the top plate relative to the shock body to make the top studs fit.
