yeah im still thinking about my next step, but my plans were for an aftermarket exhaust manifold and plenum, aftermarket crank and pistons and new valve springs ect. after these mods i would feel more inclind to increse boost.

my gt30 is internally gated for now, i opted for that as i didnt have the extra 1000 at the time for the external, but that will have to be changed also.

i havent considered wmi as yet, ive got the .82 housing too, sounds the same as yours.

ive got pics on my phone of the turbo, hopefully get them onto the computer soon. its low mounted, but is obviously not stock, which makes me very paranoid.

thanks guys, there have been a lot of useful replies given here which have given me plenty to think about. the rb25 turbo is probably sounding the way to go as it seems fairly stockish yet is a definate improvement and may even sneak past regency. Im not looking for much more than 200kw anyways.....

There's no need to drop the int gate if your not having issues with boost creep.

XR6T's are fine with their int gates and pushing 400+rwkw. Stick with the int gate, drop a larger flapper in it if you begin to experience creep if not leave it as is.

well thats a good thing i probably wouldnt want anything over 400kw. so il keep the internal by the sounds of it.

i havnt heard much about this day on the weekend.... might be interested. ive got friday and sat off work, which gives me a bit of free time
