Confused

Me and my mate was going through his 33 series 1 yesterday.We took out the computer to hook up his pfc and we noticed

his standerd computer was ment for a auto.My mates car is manual.

Someones written R33 SER 2 AUTO on the face of the computer.

Would that have affected the performance of the car at all?

Has anyone else come across this before.

Power FC says "APEXi Power FC" on the front, not what car it's for, nor does it say Nissan

Another note, they aren't made for AUTO R33's at all !

Thats right.

I would say the ECU has previously been replaced and no doubt the wrecker or whoever supplied it had labelled it as an R33 GTS-T Auto ECU as thats what it was removed from in the first place.

Assuming the car run fine before, maybe the existing ECU was just incorrectly marked? Who knows!
