Loud Beeping Noise @ 110k

Ok when i hit around 110kmph this quite loud beep comes on and stays on until i drop back down below 110. The car doesnt have any speed warning devices fitted so i have nfi what it is.

Some guy at work said something to do with the injectors but couldnt tell me exactly what...

has anyone come accross this before?

I think the speed alarm is standard on the R33's, search and there'll be a thread on what wire you'd need to cut

never happened to the past owner thats the only thing that has me puzzled.

I don't see how it could be related in any way to the injectors. Most likely a speed warning thing even though its weird that it didnt happen to the past owner.

same thing happened to me

i have had my car since feb

i cant explain it

one month it will beep (after 110)

next it wont

its like the car has a mind of its own

It is a speed alert. Disconnect the lower section of the under steering dash and you will find a small box. Disconnect this and the beeping will stop. The headlight warning will also stop and so will the key in ignition warning.

Or if you cut wire 53 the beeper won't know what speed you are doing.

CUT THE BLUE WIRE.. NO WAIT, CUT THE RED..

My mate's silvia had that speed warning thing, really annoying.. Sorted it out quick smart though. My R33 has the ignition key warning beeper, but no speed warning. Probably disconnected before I purchased it.

I had this problem once, I was in reverse!
