speed limiter

hey can any of you guys give me a detailed way of how to cut the speed limiter in my r32 gts???

i found teh ecu, and all those wires, but which way shoudl i hold it etc to get the right wire.. i dont want to just go ahead and cut any wire...

Will have to do mine.

Just had new tyres (came with old ones with flat spots).

180 before and she shook like a dog.

Now 190 smooth as a babys bum untill the speed limiter kicks in

Had a look on the weekend.

The wire is yellow with a green trace.

On the ECU, as it sits in the car, there is a block of 20 pins at the bottom of the loom plug. The pins on the RHS are numbered 41 - 50 (from top down), and the pins on the left are 51 - 60. Pin 53 is the 3rd one down on the LHS (side nearest outside of the car).

dont just cut the wire. just put in a switch run it under your dash in a handy spot. now when you feell the need to drive like a lunatic than all you do is at track day flick the switch unlimited speed. now when you not using it eg lending the car to a friend turn the speed limiter on so they cant go too crazy in your car.

plus the switch means that you only have the error code in the comp for short period of time.

and or dont lend your mate the car

wat color is the speed limmiter wire in an r3325t???

wud it be the same as r32???
