ok, i remember sometime ago reading threw one of the threads somewhere that if you put stock gtr pistons into an rb25de they will fit straight in no probs and they will lower the comp ratio down to some value like 9:1 and would be able to handle more boost but still retaining a higher compression ratio, can all you guro's out there comfirm as i cant find the post atm and theres some up for sale and whilst the cars off the road would be nice to swap em over so i can up the boost a bit

cheers Jarrod

ok i did a lot of sole searching threw the turbo section and it seems like there is a little bit of info in there. looks like if i want to use the 26pistons i need a crank and rods to suit, plus i gain an extra .1 litres yay, havent found any info about comp ratios but i think it says they'll be about the same as a standard rb26 so what like 8.5:1 or something. thinking if i can find a crank cause i've found some roads and pistons i may do it, lol im going to have bits of everthing in my car .

series 2 turbo shell, series 1 na engine + series 1 turbo parts, gtr pistons crank rods, plus aftermarkets bits mm when i get this thing on the road if i ever do its going to be a compeatly different car than what i started with
