Speedo Needle Shaking At Low Speeds

Hi guys,

noticed my speedo needle is shaking when at low speeds like when crawling in traffic.

car is a 32 GTR.

i recently had the seals on the speedo cable where it goes into the gearbox replaced could it be sumthin to do with this?

If sum1 could help me here that would be great

Could well be the cable it just dry

Disconnect it at the speedo end & spray some lube down there, it will work it's way thru the whole assy quickly enough & see if that fixes your prob

After i broke my original speedo cable i replaced it with a second hand one and after installation i had the same problem with shacking at low speeds. It was an idication that it was on its way out, the cable gave way a few weeks later and i replaced it with a new genuine item from nissan. Problem solved. New speedo cable cost me $80.
