So far i have seen the dunlop and yoko's, and the bridestones mentioned above sound ok. Whats the other options, since i am hunting for some too.

thanks all

I use Toyo RA1, I like them. My 180SX runs 58.50 at QR on them and my GTR runs 59.4 on them and the Supra ran 60.6 on them on Saturday,[same 4 tyres on each car!] but the best part is they are CHEAP. They don't go off and all mushy like Azena's when overheated. But buy them in something like 16 inch, I use 245/50/16. Keeps rolling mass down.

i got DJ01 on and i can say these tyres are absolutely AWESOME i've driven all the other brands and nothing comes close. Also it's the tyre by choice to nearly the entire field at this year targa tasmania, how do i know? i was there!!!

I figured the SO-3's aren't a race/semi slick tyre, however if they offered comparable value to the RE540's (like lose 1-2 secs over sprint circuit but last another 15K), then I'd go for the SO-3's since they are cheaper in long run.

If the RE 540's are e.g. 5-10 secs faster over sprint circuit and last just as long as SO-3's (being careful with them on the road), then I'd go RE540's since they are also cheaper.

MR33 - I want a price for the 245/40 18 RE540's

hungry06 - Who makes DJ01 and how much are they for 235(245)/40 18's (preferrably 235s).
