hey guys quick question

is there any reason why a gearbox mount would be changed to an aftermarket one (with lots of rubber and such) on a stock low-km clean 33 series 2?

im looking at buying this car but the owner just recently changed the gearbox mount 2 days ago. is this to hide the fact that the gearbox is going to shit itself in 5,000ks? it sounded fine to drive im just paranoid about letting go of my hard saved cash

thanks

gearbox mounts do wear out.... i wonder if the owner of the car went and got a RWC and his one was worn out so he was told to replace it, and a aftermarket one is generally cheaper and lasts longer then a genuin one from nissan!!

i wouldnt be incline to say the gearbox will shit itself at all... kind of different parts we are talking about... if u know what i mean.

anyone else got ideas?

i know that a worn gearbox rubber will get pickd up on a RWC and be told to get replaced before the RWC gets passed.
