HI guys, I'm hoping someone can help me.

Here is my story

I got an upgrade to my r33 SII the turbo upgrade was done by GCG. I got the 450HP hi flow Ball bearing turbo. Now my problem is that it’s over boosting. Research has led me to believe it’s because of the exhaust outlet is too small. I have been searching for a VG30 single turbo housing but to no avail, everyone wants to sell me the whole thing.

So if anyone can assist with a VG30 rear housing it would be much appreciated.

So far, I have spent

$200 for an old r33 SI turbo

$1750 to hiflow

$270 Sard Fuel Reg

$220 Fuel pump

$750 Power FC

$2500 Unique to have it all installed

It’s been costly so far and im looking at another $1000

Not sure where to go from here

that was an option but I was speaking to scott from insight he informed me that he did that with a 200 and didnt fix the problem so i dont know if mines going be the same.

thanks for the reply

    • I did some research, considering you have a neo engine, how is that battery compatible? I checked centuries website and super cheap and says it's not compatible. Only this full size one is. https://www.centurybatteries.com.au/products/ns60-mf
    • No, lets be honest here. I went to Winton and did a track day, for all the mods and V8 power and craziness I posted up a time that a K24 stock motor Honda Accord can do on the same tyres (narrower, too) 250kw and learning how to drive the f**kin thing is the sweet spot.
    • While that's true, that is the only thing that those cars can do. Whereas a car like ours can also weigh 500kg less, and take a corner properly without risk of punching a hole in the concrete barrier when it lets go. Oh, and sound good. Oh, and not just be a mobile iPad.
    • Nah, that's the video I was referring to! I want to see you have a proper crack this time, unlike at 2:20 in that video where you are just taking it easy! What do you reckon it'll do at Wakefield? 1:03 ish?
    • This is where what you want is a Barra 4L. I had the FG XR6T for a few years. It made bulk power, and so stupidly effortlessly. But if you want true amazing power that's incredible in traffic light GPs or getting into a gap in traffic, you can't beat an EV...
