not sure if anyone gets this problem but i am new to the turbo scene. when i turn my boost controller on while driving the guys at "ovaboost performance" set it to run at 13psi just a couple of weeks ago (normally runs at 10 wen turned off). But sometimes wen i have the controller on im spiking at 14-15psi and sometimes my car just "backs off- i.e feels like the car is bunny hopping" if it hits that high. what causes the spikes and is the bunny hopping at 120km/h normal wen spiking?

anyhoo any help would be great

if your using the internal gate then boost spiking is normal, i set mine to around 11 and when it spikes it hits 13, just depends how hard it comes on boost.

if the boost spikes too high it will start to run out of fuel (this point depends on what car you have and what mods you have done, im going to assume its standard) also if they have left the factory boost control solonoid hooked up then that would'nt be happy seeing extra boost either, i know my 33 isnt a fan of 15psi and definately hated it when i changed the wrong setting in the avcr and hit 18psi.

as i have done maybe try setting your boost controller a little lower to allow for the spike, or get an external wastegate.
