Hey. Just signed up! I own the High Octane built skyline. Just having some problems, Its rwd. Ive checked all the fuses and they seem fine. What could it be? Ive looked on the net and thought it could be the GSensor?? The 4wd light is on the dash too.

any ideas?

RH corner of the boot, behind the panel, is a reservoir for the ATTESSA AWD system. Check the level is OK (need IGN = ON to check correctly).

The one in the rear right in this photo? I checked it with the ignition on and its way below low. what do i top it up with?

Thanks for your help

hi mate

the computer is under the rear parcel tray in the boot.

hard to see but turn the key on and count the flashes on the computer (little red light in the corner of the computer)

go through it a couple of times to make sure you get all the numbers

cheers russ

Ah, you didn't tell us that before.

The standard ECU passes a signal from the TPS through to the ATTESSA ECU. If your Haltec doesn't simulate that, the AWD goes into "error" mode.

I got it on a hoist today and drove it through the gears. The front wheels do move a little bit. The front right i can stop it from spinning by putting my foot on it. I cant stop the front left.. But there cant be much power going to them cause i have NO traction at all. The torque gauge in dash stays at zero the whole time..

Sorry but your've lost me about the haltec computer. Ill check the error codes in the boot tomorrow and post them up. The 4wd was all working sweet but then stopped and i didnt touch the haltec or anything so i dont understand how it could be that?

yeah if 4wdwas working with the haltec originally, more than likely not that,

need to get the codes out, in the air when 4wd is working you will not stop front wheels turning, i think the torque gauge normally sits about half way or a bit more when spinning in the air.

Ok well i can stop the front right wheel from spinning but not left. The torque gauge stays on zero the whole time (even when driving). Will grab those codes and post up today.

thanks.
