Giant Testing

On Saturday morning I went out to QR to watch Russ and Mark test a few bits and pieces on their R32 which is being prepared for the Tsukuba Time Attack at the end of the year. Even though they haven't got the race donk or suspension in the car yet, it is going like a bullet. Looks awesome in the flesh - black on black - carbon doors and 10"rims all round running 285/18's. For a car that has to runs semi's it is farken quick -really impressive to watch.

Mark is quite a wheel man - coming through the inside corner on the national circuit and rounding 6 onto the straight were a sight to behold.

Yeh i was there also and got to watch their 32gtr, christ it is bloudy fast, and will only be faster when the new motor and suspension goes in.

mark sure knows how to steer the car well, was a great morning to watch.

Yeh, car was going good till we blew the turbo. Some rubber bits blocked the oil feed and it ceased the turbo from an obvious lack of oil. That sucked cause i needed the practice on the sprint track for the state championship rd in two weeks But we found another gt35r to use on sunday thanks to Daniel - elite racing man!

Damn it! Would have loved to see that. Have to keep us updated on his efforts in Japan, will be interesting to see how he compares to the Japan drivers/workshops. . . . .

Arhhh nice work, I have not seen this car in ages.

Your attention to detail and setup made me foam at the mouth at first sight, Ive never seen a GTR this modified in Australia before.

Russ, you werent wrong about that three week wait on pwr. We had some overheating issues on sunday, so were looking at a radiator similiar to yours. Good thing i got to see your car and speak to you

Would have been good to see. Have seen this thing at the wide bay sprints a couple years now. Very very quick car, seems to work well in the 'old' guise.

Was down in ipswich at the kart track saturday morning/lunch, saw quite a number of skylines going past towards qld raceway.
