yes, it will stuff your paint. you can roll it a tiny bit before it will crack, but as mine was being painted they were rolled until the gaurd actually cracked. then welded back up. it doesnt really look like much, but considering there was no lip at all to begin with, it is a bit.

Yep, same as what we did on my cousins 180sx.

sorry, you are right, they are flared, not rolled. The reason they cracked was because the fronts gaurds were terrible an had creases from my handy work at the track to stop scrubbing... not to mention we were flaring them as much as we possibly could.
