The problem with organics is they don't hold reasonable power all that well with hard launches. Say 220rwkw+

That has been my experience has been If you do give them a hard clean launch that requires a little slip not to instantly fry the tyres; the clutch heats up and upon grabbing second gear it will slip. :)

What ceramic clutch did you use MBS206? I've personally found the Exedy 4puk to be more friendly than the Xtreme 9puk which by all rights 'should' be more friendly.

A well made chrome molly flywheel at around 4.8kgs would be great to add, along with the 'sprung' 9 puck ceramic button style clutch and a standard-ish pressure pressure plate (people go overboard in this area). Chrome Molly has some advantages of strength over the stock one in addtion to proven rotational mass advantages.

Should be just as nice as stock to drive and a good match to your nitrous intentions if you go to the strip.

It will also hold onto a bigger shot of nitrous as you get interested in upping the dose. I would imagine a 200hp shot would not be out of the question if you were so inclined and make for low 12's.

Cubes, honestly, I can't tell you what's in there at the moment

The clutch was in the car when I bought it.

My motor and gearbox is coming out not this thursday, but the one after, so I'll get some photos up then.

I used to have the brand of clutch and flywheel, but I forgot them.

well the new clutch went in today...............the heavy duty ceramic cushioned button

ended up just getting the flywheel machined back a little, had a really good think about it and decided to not get the lightened flywheel, due to the whole thing of losing inertia and all that funky jazz

but on the clutch oh my god is absoltutly beautiful to use! the clutch pedal is a lot firmer, a little heavier not much, but really really nice to use.

im soo very happy with it :P

since there is no further talk on lightened flywheels, i will close this thread - please use cara's clutch thread for further discussions.
