This is what my tyre placard states, the law states you cannot ecceed + or - 15mm of overall diameter of factory wheel/tyre combination.........otherwise speedo will be out by a certain %

So you could run r22x30x245 if your hektic and that

I'm actually looking for tyres for my 19x.9.5's (when they show).

Some good deals in 245/40 R19 - HSV front end tyres from what I'm told, same as what spoolin is running from memory. They are 1.5% out.. So at 100kmh reading you're doing 101.5kmh.

sweet, what offset do you have to run 9.5 wide? Mine are 9 inch wide and they are just legal, but will be getting new wheels when the funds allow it.

This is what I run; it gives around 3% error (100km/h indicated= 97km/h actual) against my GPS. thumbsup.gif

My tyre size is exactly the same as yours Dale, & my speedo reads 7% fast at 100km/h by my GPS.....

I think the satellites need recalibration.

Lol, well I get a different speed going in two different directions on the same piece of road; so anything's possible...

Maybe if they bring the satellites a bit closer to the earth? They're miles too far away, IMO...

Jase, if you're wanting to fit the valve body upgrade at the same time as dropping all the fluid, I can sell you mine, that rocked up today, and just order another one?

I'm not in a hurry, especially since I changed the trans fluid when I got the car, around 6 months ago. So if you're changing the trans fluid shortly, better off doing the shift kit at the same time.

Evidently I have come into this with my eyes shut. What is this valve body upgrade? Not the shift kit thing that everyone is talking about? I don't think I have the mechanical confidence to tackle a job like that.

Yep, that's it. Mine came yesterday. I love the sticker on the front, but I don't believe a word of it....

Yeh....not hard at all.....you just don't want to make an error. Things often come with labels like that.....also throw the distructions in the bin as they have a whole heap of useless info in them too!

Seriously

If you have mechanical knowledge it's a can do....if your struggling to do anything on your car mechanically don't attempt it!
